Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Katie. I am the founder of HuddoCo. I am a wife, and a mum to our perfect little man, and the inspiration behind our brand, Hudson (aka Huddo).

After being diagnosed with post natal depression after the birth of Hudson, I often found myself overwhelmed at the thought of leaving the house, dreading the possible sh*t storm that might eventuate. If you've left the house with a baby, you'll know what I mean! But as difficult as it was, I refused to let fear hold my family and I back. I've always had a love for travel, and I truly believe that exploring the world with your little sidekick boosts your confidence as a parent and reinforces a bond with your child like no other, so that's exactly what we did.

Being based in Western Australia, it takes a long time to get anywhere! So any trip was a considerable effort. I needed the right tools for the job.

I searched high and low to find 'the perfect baby backpack', but I came up empty handed. I needed something that could hold everything I needed in a functional and ergonomic way (access to what I needed, when I needed it!). I needed a bag that was durable and could handle everything mum-life had to throw at it! (insert spilt yoghurt and leaking milk bottle!). I needed a bag that was beautiful, but unisex so my husband could use it too. I had an extensive list of 'must-haves', but nothing ticked all my boxes, so I decided to create it for myself. I created the Anywhere Backpack. That is how HuddoCo was born.

HuddoCo values family, community, sustainability, parental wellbeing, and adventure.

On weekends, you'll find the HuddoCo family hanging out at Rottnest Island, watching Huddo grow, with a G&T in hand, planning our next adventure.
