We lost our first Nappy Buddy bag so this is our replacement since we couldn’t go without it!
Slight downside is that the buckle means it’s easy for a pick pocket to snatch when travelling - just had to be more mindful.
I had been eyeing the HuddoCo backpack for a while and am so glad I finally purchased it! Katie has thought of everything you could ever need and has created the most functional backpack for the whole family! The quality of materials and the backpack are better than I expected. I’m a serial over packed and I like to have everything with me at all times. When you fly alone with a toddler - it’s actually essential to have ALL THE THINGS. I love how accessible everything is in the bag, the wipes compartments. The streamline chic design. The lunchbox is SO handy and compact and so are the little ice packs. The mini nappy bag is so cute to wear on its own. So many hidden zips, multifunctional and so clever. Absolute necessity for flying.
We purchased the bag for an overseas trip with twin 10month olds. And a travel time of 26hours meant packing everything and the kitchen sink. Nappies, spare clothes for everyone, food, snacks, emergency medicine and lots and lots of toys as well as an airplane bassinet cover fit without issue and were all easily accessible!!! Having side access and separating shelves was an absolute lifesaver in the airport while going through security and pulling out liquids etc.
The Nappy buddy was used for all changes as it was easier to bring into tiny airplane bathrooms. And while the wipes packed said it worked best with 15 ish wipes it really had no problem with 30+ wipes.
The strap on the nappy buddy (being new and all) would often not stay tightened and loosen easily so we opted to wear it as a cross body bag instead. I am sure as we use it more it will be less slippery.
We are super grateful that we could organise express shipping I don’t know how else we would have managed.
Huddo has now been upgraded to our permanent everyday nappy bag and I wish we had bought this sooner!! Particularly with a set of multiples I would say this is an absolute essential!
I had been looking at the No Reception bag and stumbled across Huddoco. Loved that it was an Aussie brand, and that the pricing was better when you took into account the international shipping as well.
Love the quality of the bag, it is really beautiful and cannot wait to use it! Super functional with what feels like a million pockets. Everything you need as a parent who travels with tiny humans.
The delivery was super speedy too. We got our bag within a week of ordering!
And just to add, my 14mth old is absolutely obsessed with the box 😅 he has played with it for 2 weeks non stop. Love the quality of it too.
